Hi, I'm Oliwia Drozdowicz - a research assistant, cultural producer and educator, workshop leader and photographer. I work at the intersection of art, education, and European studies.
I have a background in photography (BA from the E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, graduated with distinction) and European Interdisciplinary Studies (MA from the Willy Brandt Center for German and European Studies at the University of Wrocław, final grade: very good). My master’s thesis focused on the bridges on the Polish-German border and their history.
I’ve been involved in the TIFF Collective Foundation, where I co-organized exhibitions, festivals, workshops, and cultural events. I’ve curated and produced exhibitions shown at several places in Poland. I lead workshops on photography and visual arts in Polish, English, and German. Since 2019, I’ve also been active in Polish-German youth exchange programs, after completing a training course with Europa Direkt e.V. I also have experience in academic research. I worked as a research assistant in a comparative project on grassroots lobbying in the UK, Germany, and Poland.
In my work, I’m interested in memory, identity, border regions, visual history. I enjoy working across different fields and bringing people together through art, history and multicultural dialogue.
