I have experience in working on exhibitions - both curating and producing them. Since 2020, I’ve gained most of this experience through projects with the TIFF Collective Foundation, including the International Photography Festival TIFF Festival (renamed TIFF Photography Biennale in 2023) and Be Together - Integration and Art. Depending on the project, my role varied. In Be Together, it initially involved several months of collaboration with both disabled and non-disabled participants (who were not professional artists). Together, we took part in workshops where we created various artworks and developed the concept and message of the exhibition. At the TIFF Festival / TIFF Photography Biennale, I initially worked as a volunteer coordinator and producer of events accompanying the exhibitions. In 2023, I took on the role of overall project coordinator and also curated one of the exhibitions. Additionally, I was involved in other projects and activities within the foundation.
Photos and descriptions of the individual projects can be found below.
Schronienie (eng. Shelter, 2021) explored personal spaces of safety and inner worlds that provide protection from external circumstances. Developed as part of the Be Together - Integration and Art project, the exhibition presented works by participants from Wałbrzych and Wrocław, who expressed their perspectives through textiles, craft, and symbolic materials. I worked as the producer of the exhibition. The exhibition was held at several places in Wrocław, Katowice and Wałbrzych.
Czego się boisz? Nie wiem, nie pamiętam (eng. What Are You Afraid Of? I Don’t Know, I Don’t Remember, 2022) was a collaborative exhibition created with young people from the Youth Sociotherapy Centre No. 2 in Wrocław and local artists. The project involved workshops focused on emotions and self-expression, during which participants recorded their reflections that later inspired various artists from Wrocław. The exhibition showcased a creative dialogue between youth and artists, presenting various perspectives on adolescence and emotional experiences. I worked as both producer and curator. The exhibition was held at Galeria u Agatki on Tamka Isle in Wrocław.
Głosy w deltach małych rzek (eng. Voices in the Deltas of Small Rivers, 2022) was a group exhibition exploring themes of safety, sensitivity, and creativity. The project developed through a collective process of self-reflection and shared experience. Participants expressed their perspectives through intuitive and personal narratives, reflecting a range of emotions and experiences. I worked on the project as a producer. The exhibition was presented at the Four Domes Pavilion - Museum of Contemporary Art, branch of the National Museum in Wrocław (Pawilon Czterech Kopuł - Muzeum Sztuki Współczesnej, oddział Muzeum Narodowego we Wrocławiu), as part of the Be Together - Integration and Art initiative.
Dziecko jednej matki (eng. Child of One Mother, 2023) was an intuitive, sensory exploration of our relationship with nature - its strength, silence, rhythm, and rawness. Using natural materials such as branches, stones, plants, and pigments, it examined how nature changes when placed within a man-made, sterile environment. The project originated from a collective process of inquiry, release and the search for meaning.
Stepping on the Rakes of Bliss, an exhibition by Michał Maliński, was presented as part of the TIFF Photography Biennale 2023 at the Agora Cultural Centre in Wrocław. His works were selected through an open call. The exhibition explored how public space, saturated with advertising in its many visual forms, gains entirely new character and context. I worked on the exhibition as both curator and producer.
